He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna James (Gallez) and Richard Melvin James; his wife Ann; his grandparents, Arthur, Mae James, Abraham and Sarah Gallez; his uncles, Francis Gallez (Maxine), Art James and Kenneth James; and his aunt Helen James.
He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Lortz (Eric) of Louisville, KY and Donna Huxel (Gary); his nephews, Ryan Lortz, Reid Lortz of Sarasota, FL and Tysen; his pet Callie; and his cousins, Jonathon, Connie James, Wheatland, Joanna, John Cundiff and Terre Haute. He is also survived by brother, and son to his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hope Lutheran Church or Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana.
