He was predeceased by: his parents, Therral Young and Hazel Newby Young; and his siblings, Stephen Young, Roy Young, William Young and Virginia Pitman.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Young; his children, Steven Young of Idaho Falls, ID, Sheryl Hanni of Ammon, ID and Julie Lindsay (John) of Idaho Falls, ID; and his sisters, Jone Vincent (Larry) of Idaho Falls, ID and Ila Jennings (David) of Idaho Falls, ID. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
