He is survived by: his wife Penney Ray Cheney of Idaho Falls, ID; his children, Steven James Cheney (Sydney Renae) of Idaho Falls, ID, Stephanie Ray Weber (Fred John) of Idaho Falls, ID, Scott Lamoin Cheney of Idaho Falls, ID and Danielle Gneiting (Todd Johnathan) of Idaho Falls, ID; and his siblings, Melvin Cheney (Evelyn) of Brigham City, UT, Silas Cheney (Gayla) of Gooding, ID and Lela Palmer (Lynn) of Park Valley, UT. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was a member of the Laborers Union and Parkinson's Group.
