He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Mack Bateman; his brother Jed Bateman; his sister-in-law Lisa Bateman; and his nephew Tyrel Bateman. He is survived by: his mother Wylene Ivie Bateman of Iona, ID; his wife Lisa Bateman of Idaho Falls, ID; his children, Melissa Chiu (Spencer) of Rigby, ID, Jacob Bateman (Kelsey) of Rigby, ID, Benjamin Bateman (Kayla) of Rexburg, ID and EmmaLee Burnett (Nathan) of Idaho Falls, ID; his siblings, Debbie Wheeler (Jeff) of Idaho Falls, ID and Curtis Bateman (Rone) of Iona, ID; his grandmother Leah Bitton of Iona, ID; and his grandchildren, Sullivan, Jaylee, Jayce, Elias, Hans, Matthew, Aaron and Lydia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ucon Stake Center (2967 105th N, Idaho Falls, ID 83404).
