With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gene Petersen (Idaho Falls, Idaho), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Leah Harker Campbell; her husband Royes John Petersen Jr.; her father Odell Campbell; and her siblings, Wendell, David, Perry, Van, Robert Campbell, Doris and Dorothy Campbell.
She is survived by: her children, Jon Petersen, Ralph Petersen (Joni) of Henderson, NV, Paul Petersen (Barb) of Idaho Falls, ID, Diane McDonald (Dave) of Mesa, AZ, Susan Anderson (late Ashley) of Henderson, NV and Cathy Crum (Jay) of Henderson, NV; and her siblings, Bonnie Romrell (Dale) of Corvalis, OR, Rose Hanson (Doug) of Blackfoot, ID, Lester Campbell (Linda) of Orem, UT and Bruce Campbell of Pocatello, ID. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 66 ½ great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ammon 26th Ward (1100 Tie Breaker Dr, Ammon, ID 83406). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Iona Cemetery (4962 1st St, Idaho Falls, ID 83401).
