We bid farewell to Elden Hope of Idaho Falls, Idaho, born in Rexburg, Idaho, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 18, 2024 at the age of 94. Elden touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Elden departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elden may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elden leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Dewey Hope and Zella Keppner Hope; his wife Joan Hope; and his son Burdett Hope. He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Hope, Courtney Hope and Rodrick Hope; and his siblings, Phyllis Powell (Leon) of Moore, ID and Lavere Hope (Kay) of Idaho Falls, ID. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
