He was predeceased by: his siblings, John, Mary, Dorothy, Florence and Ted; his son-in-law Gary Whitney; and his great grandchild Helen Young.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Schuler; his children, Susan Hartley (Craig), Trish Chadez Whitney, Charles Chadez, Louise Chadez (Dave McRae), Mary Chadez (Greg Sanders), Perry Chadez (Connie) and Rita Ball (Bernie); his sister-in-law Dorothy Vauk; his sister Chanelle Schuler (Lesta Chadez); and his grandchildren, Scott Hartley, Anna Hartley-Simon, Cari Whitney McCurdy, Kristin Delmare, Braden, Eileen McRae, Justin Bilbrey, Chris, Eric, Jeni Ball and Michelle Young.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Homedale Senior Center, St Gertrude's Monastery, or a charity of your choice.
