He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gebauer and Emma Gebauer; his siblings, Helena Harper, Thelma Dean, Chester Gebauer, Wilferd Gebauer, Robert Gebauer, Alfred Gebauer and Charles Gebauer; and his siblings-in-law, Warren Harper, Oliver Dean, Goldie Gebauer and Rose Gebauer.
He is survived by: his wife Frieda Ruhaak; his sons, Harlan (Sharon) and Galen (Pat); his grandchildren, Payden Gebauer (Darby), Tyler Gebauer (Kelli), Jaycee Gebauer, Kasey Kowitz (Amber) and Jessica Tuttle (Ted); his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Helayna Gebauer, Kazlin, Luke Kowitz, Ida and Luella Tuttle; his brother Max (Joyce); and his sisters-in-law, Margie Gebauer and Betty Gebauer. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
