She was predeceased by: her parents, Isabel Cortes and Faustino Cortes; her sister Ampelia Cortes; her son Lupito Avila; and her granddaughter Rachel Avila.
She is survived by: her husband Alberto Avila; and her children, Enrique Avila (Patricia), Adelaido Avila (Tammy), Andres Avila (Patricia), Blanca Estela Manriquez (Petronilo), Celia Tenorio (Martin), Alberto Avila (Marcela), Pablo Avila (Araceli), Maria Guadalupe Rivera (Roman) and Salvador Avila. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
