She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hill and Elsie Hill (Wester); her daughter Nancy; her grandchildren, Jeff and Pamela; and her great grandchild Sara.

She is survived by: her husband William Burgess; and her children, Joe, Marilyn, Bonnie, June and Alice. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
