He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl "Bob" and Elsie Haakenson; his brother Dick; his friend Janet "Cookie" Best; his wife Janet "Cookie" of Hayden; his children, Eric Haakenson (Michelle) of Hayden, Kristina Lallatin (Ken) of Hayden Lake and Allisa Chipman (Chris Coscia) of Coeur; and his stepson John Bartal (Jackie Gotchal) of Santa Maria, Calif.. He was also cherished by children and grandchildren, but also so many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to encourage friends of Bob to give to Hospice of North Idaho as their service to the families with loved ones in their final stages of life is truly remarkable and one of a kind.
