It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Esther Knutson (Hayden, Idaho), born in Glen Elder, Kansas, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul J. B. Ellis and Ruth Ellen Ellis (Huling); her husbands, John Faulstich and Conrad Knutson; and her siblings, Paul Jr. (Barbara), George, Mary Snider (Paul), Pauline Tackett (Carl), Elizabeth Mayfield (Ray) and Alice Marie.
She is survived by: her brother Chester Ellis (Eunice) of Tacoma, Washington; and her children, Dennis Faulstich of Jacksonville, Carolyn Kiehn of Coeur d'Alene and Chris Knutson (Connie) of Tigard, Oregon. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
