He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Waco and Verna Simmons; and his sister Roberta (Jackson). He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his son Scott; his daughter-in-law Julia (Spokane); his daughter Pam; his son-in-law Wade (Boise); and his grandchildren, Gus (Lisa) of Fresno, CA, Jack (Breanna) of Wilmington, NC, Mason (Spokane), Zane (Madison) of Garden City, ID, Kennedy (Boise) and Addison (Boise).
