He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Carter and James "Jim" Carter; and his sister Candace. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Carter; his children, Melody Carter, Donnie Stinson Jr. (Wendy Stinson) and Tim Stinson Sr. (Brandy Stinson); his grandchildren, Donald III, Tim Jr. (Becca), Paige (Kevin), Acacia, Michael, Sabrina, Brianna, Elle, Felicity, Dallis and Khloe; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Daniel, Sebastion, Addison and Elsie; and his brothers, Ken Carter of Grass Valley, CA and Jim Carter Jr. of Carson City, NV.. He is also survived by friends that he considered his kids and grandkids and numerous other extended family.
