He was predeceased by: his son Elyjah Prosper Hood; and his grandparents, J. C., Mary Jane Hood, William Aubrey and Verdie Lee Glenn.

He is survived by: his parents, Johnny Hood and Sue Hood; his children, Leia Pearl Hood, Souther Ukiah Hood and Winston Aubrey Hood; his brother Glenn Hood (Jennifer Hood); his nephew Garrett; and his niece Brittany Hood. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
