He was predeceased by: his sister Gladys Schwartz (Tom); his daughter Gloria; his grandson Ryan Crea; his parents, Albine Sonnen and Oliva Sonnen; and his siblings, Leona Duman, Marge Kramer and Everett Sonnen.
He is survived by: his wife Doris U Sonnen (Schmidt); his children, Debbie Crea (Colin), Linda (Robert), Steve Sonnen (Sue), Donna Gable Coeur (Rob), Alene of Idaho, Janet Boyer (Stan), Bruce Sonnen (Jennifer) and Judy Baker Meridian (Jason); his great grandchildren, Stephanie Riener (Brandon), Landon and Aubree; his grandchildren, Lindsey Frei (Brent), Kaydence, Kensley, Keith Nida (Tiffany), Adalyn, Keagan, Jenna Bonwell (Jacob), Elijah, Nicole Farsaci (Matthew), Roman, Theo, Vanessa Hernandez (Luis), Javier, Tabitha Roach (Craig), Isabella, Harrison, Avery, Austin Sonnen, Kyler Gable (Kelsey), Colton Gable, Parker Boyer, Sydney Boyer, Gabe Sonnen, Hannah Sonnen, Brandon Baker, Derek Baker and Merissa Baker; and his brothers, Leroy Sonnen (Karla) and Robert Sonnen (Linda).
