He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank W. Nuxoll and Anna Nuxoll (Koepl); and his siblings, Robert, Bart, Art, Donald, Clara Morris, Isabel West, Alice Kowalski, Pauline Frei and Alvira Fowler.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Houtakker; his children, Mary Jane Mock (Mike) of Olympia, Donna Pankey (David) of Lewiston, Susan Jones of Boise and John Nuxoll of Lewiston; and his grandchildren, Jenny, Katelyn, Michael, Laura Mock, Maya, Sage Pankey, Ryan, Adam and Mark Jones.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to St. Anthony's Church.

“Dear Ms. Betty, no one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that Lloyd is now resting in the arms of our Lord. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. Lloyd will never be forgotten by the poor he helped for many years. I was his prayer representative and partner here at Food For The Poor, he patiently waited for his machine to reproduce my messages so he could read them, and then he would respond. I will miss him. Praying for you all.”
