Schmidt and Anastasia Schmidt (Riener); her friend Gonzaga; her children, Daryl, Kelly, Cindy Algeo (Ken), Janis (Larry Forsmann), June (Rod Behler), Lindy (Patty Hinkelman) and Aaron (VickI Hinkelman); her sisters, Joann Schmidt and Margie Schmidt; her sisters-in-law, Arlene Schmidt and Marilyn Schmidt; her husband Clark; her siblings, Marie Hasenoehrl, Bernadine, Grace Ann, Jim Schmidt and Tom Schmidt; and her parents-in-law, Glenn Hasenoehrl, Alice Schmidt, Ora Kaiser, Anna Hinkelman, Otto, Carl and Robert Hinkelman.

Still later in her life, she sewed many baby blankets for donations along with baby towels.
