He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wassmuth (Clem) and Elizabeth Wassmuth (Schmidt); and his wife Bonnie Goeckner. He is survived by: his siblings, Tony and Liz; his daughters, Shirley Alkire (Mike) and Sheri Wassmuth; his grandchildren, Alicia Ellibee (Guy), Brian Gortsema (Nicki), Christi Sonnen (Adam), Shayla Kaschmitter and Shaydn Wassmuth; his great grandchildren, Brock, Brandon, Bridget (Dusty), Eric, Cole, Cora, Haylee and Lilly McKinley; and his great great grandchildren, Rylie and Remi. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
