He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemens Wassmuth and Elizabeth Schmidt Wassmuth; his brother Vince (Seattle); his son Tim (Nashville); his wife Eileen Sherman Remington; his sons, Douglas and George; his great grandchild Skarlytte Wassmuth; and his siblings, Joe, Nick, Clarence, Lawrence, Clemens, Leonard, Bernadine Bruegerman, Christine Winkler, Hilda, Elizabeth and Cecelia Wassmuth.
He is survived by: his children, Christina Johnson (Herb), Janet Nunziato (Fred), Brad (Cathy), Don (Sally) and Tracy Cox (Ken); and his daughter-in-law Carolyn Remington. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Even during the COVID pandemic, he stayed busy with his laptop, keeping up with emails, YouTube and Facebook.
