He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Haener and Amelia Haener (Goeckner); his wife Bernadine Wasson (Bonnie); his siblings, Elmer, Arley, Earl, Nell, Delphine and Shirley; and his grandchildren, Katie and Matt.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Brereton (Don), Dan Haener, Patty Patoray (Casey) and Janet Anthony (Cam Echanis); and his grandchildren, Ryan, Leah, Danielle, Stephanie, Jennifer and Jamie. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
His energetic and sometimes ornery personality kept his grandchildren entertained and ultimately his Parkinson's at bay.
