She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira E. Foster and Rachel M. Foster (Duzan); and her siblings, M. "Grant" Foster and Doris Steputis (Douglas Burks Sr.). She is survived by: her husband Douglas Burks; her children, Douglas Burks Jr. (C. T.) of Twin Falls, ID, Christine Burks-Arthur, Jeffrey Burks (Julie) and Rodney Burks of Boise, ID.; and her grandchildren, Christopher Burks (Jennifer), Stacey Burks, Jared Burks (Meagan), Ashley Arthur (Alex), Chad Arthur (Harriet), Elizabeth Burks (Taylor), William Burks (Heidi) and Anna Peck (Brady).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a contribution to the College of Southern Idaho Foundation's Douglas P. and Margaret I. Burks Agri-Business Scholarship Fund. Gifts in Margaret's memory can either be mailed to the CSI Foundation or made online at foundation.csi.edu.
