She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant C. Peterson and Elsie Dorothy Peck Peterson; and her brother Eldon John Peterson. She is survived by: her former husbands, Phillip Merchen and Darrell Briggs; her children, Rick Merchen, Nichole Holzworth, Bobby Merchen and Eleanor Anderton; and her siblings, Grant LaVon (Barbara Peterson), Claude (Shauna Peterson), Carla (Wayne Newman), Pegie (Randy Cobaugh) and Brenda (Jim Cook).
