He was predeceased by: his parents, Brigham Dallas Murdoch and Winona Lee Murdoch; his brother Ronald Lee; his stepmother Agnes Simonsen; his stepsister Mary Lou Versey; his son-in-law Brian Anderson; and also David Clayton Murdoch.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; and his children, Kathleen Anderson (Gary Beach), James Dallas (Maili), Karen (Todd Brandt) and Sheydene Lee Murdoch. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
