Afton Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Afton Johnson (Gooding, Idaho), who passed away on December 9, 2018 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Afton Johnson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Charles and Ethel Robertson Tilley; her spouse Nephi Johnson; her sister Lucy; and her daughter Carolyn.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Nephi, Bruce T, Kathie, Ethel Marie and Julia Lynn. She is also survived by mother and dad had three children, she moved for a very short time up to Olympia, Washington and rode the train our to the base to visit dad.
So, she began volunteering in the community, she volunteered at the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store, setup tables at the Senior Center, and worked at the Deseret donation center in Twin Falls sorting clothes.
