He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Jay and Josephine Peterson (Stoddard); his wife Judith Ann Peterson (Davis); and his sisters, Shirley Arneson (Peterson) and Gloria Higgins (Peterson).
He is survived by: his children, Radene Rindlisbacher (Todd), Dee Jay Peterson (Linda), Jolene Smith and Shane Thomas Peterson (Kim). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
