It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Packer of Fruitland, Idaho, born in Ontario, Oregon, who passed away on November 8, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Leah Alice Packer (Whiting); his wife Gloria Carol Packer; his father William Appleman James Packer; his siblings, Shirley, Betty and Jim; and his daughter Sarah Stepp.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Fitzgerald (Matthew), Todd Packer, Jennifer Schmaltz (Ron) and JaNell Oakes (James); his stepchildren, Linda, Deborah and Paul Kingsbury; his grandchildren, Sam, Heather Shaw, Brendan, Allison Packer, Brittany, Trenton Friedley, TiAnna, Melissa, Kallista Oakes, Austin, Zack, Colin and Stephanie Stepp; and his great grandchildren, Jonah, Mason Shaw, Payton Slaybaugh and Nova Monroe. He is also survived by 9 step grandchildren and cousins.
