She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Starks and Vera Starks (Pearson); her siblings, Rodney Starks and Nancy Feldner (Mark); her nephews, Mark Oltman and Ronald Wade Feldner; and her niece Becky Starks.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Maverick and Daxon; her husband Terry Shepro; her daughter Katelin Young (Nick); her stepsons, Scott Shepro (Saskia) and Josh Pieters (Tracy); her grandchildren, Sabine, Sybella and Josh; and her sisters, Patricia Brust (Joseph), Pamela Starks (Jack), Paula Parker (Michael) and Trisha Robinson (Don). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed volunteering with hospice, the food bank, and the Alzheimer's Association.
