She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Smoak and Romie Edward Smoak; and her brother Harry Edward Garber. She is survived by: her siblings, Albert Edward Smoak and Claudia "Leette" Smoak; her son David (Emily); her fiancé Harry; and her fiancé's children, Tom Garber (Virginia) and Brenda (Bob Taylor).
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Webb Funeral Home (1005 S 800 E, Preston, ID 83263). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the National Memorial Park Cemetery in Falls Church (7482 Lee Hwy, Falls Church, VA 22042).
Her Alzheimer's/Dementia symptoms increased and she spent her last years in the Heritage Senior Assisted Living Center in Preston, Idaho.
