He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Honena and Patricia Nagashoah Honena; his aunt Sybil Nagashoah; his uncle Willard Ballard; his brothers, Nathan Honena, Vernaldo "Toe" Honena, Leo Honena, Buddy John Tendoy and Bert Honena Wadda; his brother-in-law DeMonte Johnson Sr.; and his nieces and nephews, LeSanyole "Sun" Honena, Travis Honena, Dallas Racehorse and Feather Sage Tendoy.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty Ann Kee; his close friend Sarah Jack; his children, Shelly Honena of Fort Hall, Elton Joey Honena of Fort Hall, Lisa Honena of Fort Hall, Wesley Honena Jr. of Fort Hall and Shylah Kee Honena of Pocatello; his siblings, Sharon H. Johnson, Lee Ann Bear and Lonnie Jo Sammaripa Sr.; his grandchildren, Cerissa Honena, Akaila Martin, Steven W. Broncho, T. J. Diaz, Leo Bert Honena, Erin Honena, Simon L. Broncho, Tia A Honena, K'Chele Johnson, Adrien Honena, Treicyn, Cambri and Paisley Buckskin; his great grandchildren, Leorah Honena, Zamariah Knight, Leeonie Honena and Nalaya Honena; his aunts, Delila George and Madge J. Ballard; and his siblings, Darrell, Lester Nagashoah, Ida Hidalgo Broncho, H. C. Hidalgo Jr., Stacy Timbana, Garland Wade Hidalgo, Claudina Coby, Natalie Tarness, Weeb Wheeler, Elmarie Snipe and Velma S Arriwite. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
