He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Dixey Sr. and Mary Edmo Dixey (Bonatise); his siblings, Dennis Dixey, Glenn Leonard Dixey and Marlene Dixey Lindroth; his former wife Audrey Harris; his grandsons, Kyle Dixey and Dallon Dixey; and his grandparents, Ralph W. Dixey, Daisy Broncho Dixey, Gidgeon Edmo (Bonatise) and Pateesh Tendore Edmo.
He is survived by: his former wife Alfreda Alvarez; his son Dennis Dixey (Twila Blindman) of Blackfoot; and his siblings, Mary Dixey Washakie of Blackfoot, Blaine Hugh Dixey of Blackfoot, Ella Mae Dixey Metz of Blackfoot and Alan Ralph Dixey of Blackfoot. He is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
