She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kaiyou and Nettie Smart Kaiyou; her husband Delmar Pahvitse; her siblings, William Kaiyou, Phillip Kaiyou Sr., Cina Kaiyou Yokoyama and Mini Kaiyou; her niece Shirley Kaiyou; and her great grandchild Yukee Yokoyama.

She is survived by: her nephew Jackson Yokoyama Jr.; and her grandchildren, Jackie Yokoyama, Kody Yokoyama, Cheryl Yokoyama and Vernon Kaiyou. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
