He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Ellis Hardy and Mary Lucille Stephens; and his spouse Gail Fellows. He is survived by: his daughter Celeste Cleverly (Rhett); and his sister Gloria Watt. He is also survived by Six Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.
