He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Mecham and Leo Mecham; his son Shane; and his siblings, Deloy, Don Sr., F. Elaine and Eva.

He is survived by: his wife DeeAnn; his children, Shauna Pfeifer (Roy) and Lance Mecham (Ruby); and his grandchildren, Kim, Staci, Ryan, Chad, Ashli, Shelby, Latecia, Carlie and Dustin. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
