He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Buddy" Rayl and Pearl Watson Rayl; his sisters, Mary Lou Konzas and Roberta "Bobbie" Crawford; his daughter Deborah Rayl; his stepson David Hancock; and his granddaughters, Michelle Machado and Bobbie Hess.
He is survived by: his wife Helen "Pepper" Rayl; his daughters, Pamela Rayl (Ron McCallum) and Lisa Branning (Robert); his stepson Wayne Hancock (Ju); his son Kenneth Rayl (Angela); and his stepson Donald Gregory Hancock. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 26 greatgrandchildren.
