He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hammons and Emma Hammons; his siblings, Lacey, Wade, Kenny, Ida, Velma, Ruby, Wayne, Edgar and Blanche; his grandson CJ Hammons; and his great grandchildren, Coltin Barden and Katherine.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Hammons Jr (Karen), Wayne Hammons (Shelly) of Fernwood, ID and Sherry Barden (Doug) of Fernwood, ID; and his sister Jewell Booher of Maryland. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
