She is survived by: her spouse Woody Johnston; her son David Johnston; her daughter-in-law Veronika Johnston of Colorado; her daughter Karen Hammons; her son-in-law Bob Hammons of Fernwood, ID; and her siblings, Clarence Ricks, Ben Ricks, Emma McGee and Edna Larson. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
