He was predeceased by: his mothers, Claire Ausman and Jeane Ausman (Corskie); his daughter Peggy Pauline Ausman; his stepchildren, Robert Stortzum and Victoria Waldrip; and his sister Janet Merriman.
He is survived by: his former spouse Vye Phillips; his grandsons, Dan, Ben and Jesse; his wife Velda; his children, Deberah Antel (Ken) of Clarkston, WA and Phillip Ausman (Nancy) of Soldotna, AK; and his stepchildren, Rebecca Christianson (Jim) of Springfield, OR, William Stortzum of Salem, OR, Bonnie Rohrich of Veneta, OR and Kim Rohrich. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
