She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Edwin Hites and Zola Iona Goforth; her siblings, Clifford, Bonnie Mae and Louanna; and her close friend Joe.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Merrill (Galan), Bonnie Jensen (Norm), Joe Cheney (Diane), Tom Cheney (Tina) and Stanley Cheney. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren.
