She was predeceased by: her parents, Newel Romriell and Vera Romriell; her siblings, Lamar, Kenneth, Maxine Paynter and Phyllis Robinson; her husband Arch Paynter; and her close friend Tom Lahey.
She is survived by: her friend Russ Campbell; her family Mary Ellen; her sisters, Neva Grimsrud, Sharon Wright of Blackfoot and Carol Ann Lybbert of Orem, Utah; her children, John Paynter of Emmett, Idaho, Judy Gatfield (Domonic Williamson), Ron (Kelley Paynter) and Chris (Scott Clausen); her daughter-in-law LeeAnn; and her caregivers, Brandy, Christina, Jazmyne, Becky and Lisa. She is also survived by ses 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
