He was predeceased by: his son Justin Dunbar; his wife Nita Dunbar (Short); his father Mark Roger Dunbar Sr.; his stepfather Gerald Howard (Jerry); and his niece Rochelle Evans (Dunbar).
He is survived by: his son Joseph Dunbar (Becky); his grandchildren, Annabelle, Madalyn and Amelia of Sigel, Illinois.; his children, Brayden, Seth, Caleb, Lincoln and Caroline of Manhattan, Kansas.; his mother Viola Howard (Armstrong); and his siblings, Randy Dunbar and Debbie Gregg (Wright). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins.
