It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Ruth Vail Sisler of Emmett, Idaho, born in Hampton, New York, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chester HG Vail and Leah Merchant Vail; her husband Jay Sisler; her daughter Maggie (Jason Brown); her grandsons, Ira and Henry; and her sisters, Judy Simpson, Jane Moline (Alan) and Joan Wilkins. She was also cherished by friends.
With help from amazing neighbors and strong friendships she continued to run the ranch until her struggle with Parkinson's made her stay inside.
