She was predeceased by: her parents, James South and Mary South (Hughes); her siblings, Robert, Marvin Johannesburg and Molly Johannesburg; her husband Miles Prawitz; her daughter Patricia Shannon; and her grandson Forrest 'Rusty' Prawitz.
She is survived by: her former spouse Lee Garcia; and her children, Patricia Ann, Preston (Sheila) of Emmett, Forrest (Linda) and Eric of Battle Mountain, NV. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
