He is survived by: his children, Tammy Sullivan (Jim), Tracy Howard (Greg), Steven Samson and Stephanie Johnson (John); his brother Keith; his siblings-in-law, Gary (Patty), Jake (DeAnne), Judy Malmberg and Tracy Painter; his grandchildren, Maggie Geer (Harrison), John Howard, Paige Killeen (Cody), Hayden, Hannah, Grady Samson and Jeremiah Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Samuel, Maelie Jo Geer and Atlas Zuchelkowski.
