He was predeceased by: his parents, Hume Frederick and Vergie Mabel Nickerson (Johnston). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Jean; and his children, Gail Knecht, Jennifer LeDoux, Jo-Anne Munk, Holly Johnson and Michael Nickerson. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
