She was predeceased by: her son Joe; her parents, John Tidwell and Geraldine Tidwell (Adrian Parsons); and her siblings, Jean, Toby, Martha, William "Don" and John.

She is survived by: her children, Cheryl, Michael, Greg and Marion; her husband Luther Mallard of Meridian; her brother Jerry Tidwell; and her grandchildren, Justin, Brian, William Jennifer, Tiffany, John, Adrian and Alyssa.
