“I am very saddened by this news. Almost fifty years ago, "Steve" was one of the first musicians I played in a serious band with and his talent pulled a lot of growth out of me as a drummer. He and I played for singer-songwriter Dale Annis in Walnut Creek, CA and were able to do his songs justice. It was a wonderful time. I think Stephen may have blessed me more than I did him. I've been forever grateful.”
