He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Page Leavitt and Louise Nelle Nauta (Wietske Petronella); his wife Raila Leavitt; his children, Denene Crandall (Doug), Jared Leavitt (Stephanie), Denise Carter (Dave), Aaron Brackney (Christina) and Jasan Brackney (Heather); and his sisters, Billie Mae Lee and Phyllis Olive. He was also cherished by 25 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
