He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell Hoopes and Mainota Hoopes; his wife Carol Tavenner; and his siblings, Keith, Larry, Benny and Fay.
He is survived by: his sons, Marty and Shane; his granddaughter Jencee; his siblings, Beatrice Johnson (Max) and Tim Hoopes (Jewel); and his brother-in-law Larry Siepert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Some included Maughan Parkinson, George Thomas, Robert Rue and Waylett Gauchay.
