She was predeceased by: her son Kurt Schiess; and her parents, Silvon (Fay Murdock) and William (Ruby Schiess). She is survived by: her husband Lorin Schiess; her children, Lori Schiess, Lindsay, Allen Spencer, Andrew Schiess and Krystal Schiess; her grandchildren, Evalyn "Valy" Schiess, Eliza Spencer, Tucker Schiess, Reuben Schiess, Gideon Schiess, Mason Schiess and Garrett Schiess; and her siblings, JaNell Ure, Cheryl (Bill Hastings), Shona (Ted Kasper) and James (Gaylene Murdock). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

While they are beautiful, no flowers are necessary.
